During the summer holidays and on selected weekends throughout the year, we have prepared a special tour of the first and second floors of the pilgrimage church for you.
It is intended primarily for visitors who are interested in getting to know the more hidden gems of the interior of the church. From the galleries, visitors can enjoy a new point of view not only of the interior of the pilgrimage church, but also of the sculptural decorations above the gates of the cloister. Santini's typical interplay of light and shadow is combined here with the beauty of the rich stucco and carved decorations. On the second floor, it is also possible to see the organ or admire the hilly landscape surrounding Žďár.
- The tour starts every day at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM and it lasts 15 minutes.
- The tour is not commented. If you are interested in learning more about the history and symbolism of the pilgrimage site, it is advised to complete the standard route A Star Among the Stars.
- The tour includes climbing 60 steps, so it is only suitable for physically fit visitors. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed on this tour.
